UPDATE: The Government has stated that, if the gradual relaxing of Lockdown rules goes ahead as planned, Massage services will be able to operate from 12th April.

I am therefore provisionally taking bookings!

The information below has been left in place because I am hopeful I will be able to use it soon!!

While I am very excited to be able to support you in person again, it is only natural that you might have one or two concerns about resuming close contact with someone outside of your household.

 

As such, I would like to start by letting you know some of the measures I have put in place to help protect your health and wellbeing at this time:

 

• I am following guidelines issued by the government, NHS and my professional association, the Federation of Holistic Therapists, regarding safe and hygienic practice and the use of any personal protective equipment (PPE).

 

• I have carried out a full risk assessment of my therapy business to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus (COVID-19).

 

• I have completed a certified infection control course and introduced enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures to my practice, together with purchasing an air purifier with HPE filter so that even during your visit the air will be getting purified.

 

• I will be closely monitoring my own health, and that of my clients, to ensure neither party is put at risk of contracting COVID-19.

(I contracted COVID in January 2021 and had my first COVID vaccination jab in March 2021, just in case you are interested!)

 

Before your next visit I will be sending out a screening form.  Please fill this in as it is super important!

 

Please do not book in if you or anyone you know has tested positive for Covid19 in the previous 2 weeks before your appointment or if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • A new and continuous cough

  • Loss of taste or smell

  • A persistent high fever.

The rules for treatment rooms are unchanged from the last release from Lockdown :-

 

  • No soft furnishings allowed which cannot be disinfected

  • No extra comfort on the couch like my 3” memory foam mattress

  • Everything on the couch has to be replaced after each client to avoid the risk of passing on COVID19 – so three towels on the couch, two used for cover-ups and one for a head pillow = 5 towels per client

  • New uniform for each client that’s a lot of laundry!

I will continue to wear a face shield and a mask and change my uniform after each client.   Treatment times are not, at present, to be extended over 60 minutes and the wearing of masks is compulsory for all clients entering my treatment room.  New consultations to be performed by telephone/email beforehand and a COVID19 declaration is to be completed before each treatment, again by email or telephone. 

New Opening Times

 

Since going into Lockdown in December 2020, life has taken a slightly different direction and as a result, my opening times have changed.

My new hours are:

Monday                   10 am – 12.30 pm

Tuesday                    10 am – 12.30 pm

Wednesday              3.30 pm – 6.30 pm

Thursday                   closed

Friday                      3.30 pm – 6.30 pm

Saturday                  10 am – 1pm

Sunday                     closed  

Treatment times and prices are:

30 minutes              £30

45 minutes              £40

60 minutes              £50
